1. Definitions

• "Logiqum", "we", "us" — Logiqum Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság, the operator of the site and publisher of the Cypherrum application.
• "Site", "website" — the content published at cypherrum.com and its subpaths.
• "Application", "Cypherrum" — the Cypherrum desktop software distributed from the site (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• "You", "user" — any person accessing the site or installing the Application.
• "Content" — text, images, logos, code, layout, design, and any other material published on the site.

2. Permitted use of the website

The site is provided for informational purposes — to present Cypherrum, its features and security model, and to distribute the application. You may browse the site, read the content, download the application under the licence terms in section 3 below, and contact us using the published email addresses.

You may NOT, without our prior written consent:

• copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of the Content;
• scrape, crawl, or mass-download the site (other than well-behaved indexing by search engines that respects robots.txt);
• frame or mirror the site on another domain;
• attempt to bypass or disrupt the security, availability, or integrity of the site or its hosting provider;
• use the site or its Content to build, train, or fine-tune machine-learning models for commercial purposes without a written licence.

3. The Cypherrum desktop application

A Cypherrum alkalmazás

The Cypherrum desktop application is closed-source proprietary software published by Logiqum Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság. The application's installer and binaries are made available for download from cypherrum.com and from github.com/logiqum/cypherrum-releases.

Free tier: you may install and use the application for personal, non-commercial use at no cost. Free-tier use is subject to the feature limits described on the pricing page and is provided "as is" with no warranty (see section 7).

Paid tiers: features beyond the free tier (Premium, Team) require a purchased licence key. Use of those features is governed by the Cypherrum End-User Licence Agreement (EULA) bundled with the licence key, not these Terms.

Open-source components: the cypherrum-relay (TURN/STUN fallback service) is published separately under the GNU General Public License v3.0. Third-party components bundled with the application are listed on the third-party licenses page with their respective licences.

4. Intellectual property

All Content on the site, including the Cypherrum name and brand marks (the Cypherrum wordmark and the Cypherrum padlock icon), is owned by Logiqum or used under licence. Nothing on this site grants any licence or right to use those marks. Hungarian copyright law (1999. évi LXXVI. tv.) and EU Regulation 2017/1001 apply.

Short quotations with attribution for review, press, comment, or academic purposes are permitted under standard quotation/fair-use principles.

5. User-submitted content

The site does not currently host user-submitted content (no forum, no comments, no upload feature). Community discussion takes place on GitHub Discussions, governed by GitHub's own Terms of Service. By posting there you grant the other participants the right to read and reply to your post; we may quote, summarise, or pin posts of general interest.

6. Linked third-party sites

The site contains links to third-party websites (e.g., GitHub, font foundries, hosting provider). We do not control or endorse the content, availability, or privacy practices of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and the free-tier application are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by Hungarian law, in no event shall Logiqum Kft. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, vault content, or use, arising out of or in connection with these terms, the site, the free-tier application, or your inability to use either.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited under applicable law (e.g., for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence).

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms when our practices change. The "Last updated" date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms; if you do not accept the changes, stop using the site.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts competent for the registered seat of Logiqum Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság. Consumer protections that cannot be waived under the law of your habitual residence are preserved.
