Adatkezelési tájékoztató
This page explains what personal data cypherrum.com processes when you visit it, the legal basis for that processing, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 (Infotv.).
The Cypherrum desktop application itself is local-first and does not transmit personal data to any Logiqum-operated server in normal operation — see the security page and FAQ Q3 on the support page for the technical details. Customer relationships (license-key issuance, support correspondence) are covered in section 2 below.
For company identification details see the Legal Notice.
1. Data controller
Adatkezelő
- Logiqum Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (Logiqum Kft.)
- 2094 Nagykovácsi, Berkenye utca 8., Hungary
- Court reg. no.: 13-09-246330 · Tax no.: 33020983-2-13
- Represented by: Zalaváry Ákos József, Managing Director
- Contact for privacy queries: legal@cypherrum.com
We have not designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) because the website's processing activities do not meet the mandatory-DPO criteria in GDPR Art. 37. The Managing Director acts as the contact point for all data-protection matters.
2. What personal data we process
Milyen adatokat kezelünk
- Technical access data
- When you request a page, standard HTTP request metadata is recorded at our edge network: IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, referrer, response status, and timestamp. Used for operational diagnostics, security monitoring, and abuse/spam rate limiting.
- Aggregate usage measurement
- To understand how the site is used in aggregate (page views, referrer category, device class, anonymised country), we process cookieless analytics events. No persistent identifier is stored in your browser. We do not share analytics with third-party advertising platforms.
- Email correspondence
- If you write to one of our published electronic contact addresses (
support@cypherrum.com,security@cypherrum.com,legal@cypherrum.com), we receive your email address and the content of your message. Used only to respond to your inquiry. - License-key issuance (when applicable)
- If you purchase a Cypherrum license, we process the email address you provide and any minimal billing data required by our payment processor. The license key itself is bound to a machine fingerprint (a salted, app-specific hash of your machine ID) so the same hardware produces a consistent identifier without disclosing your actual machine ID to us. Billing data is retained for the period required by Hungarian tax law (currently 8 years).
The site does not use third-party advertising or marketing platforms, does not embed advertising or marketing pixels, and does not use behavioural-profiling cookies.

4. Recipients and processors
Címzettek és adatfeldolgozók
We use a small number of carefully selected processors for hosting, content delivery, email delivery, and (when applicable) payment processing. The current list is available on request at legal@cypherrum.com. Each processor is bound by a written agreement (DPA) and is subject to GDPR-equivalent safeguards.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
5. International transfers
Adattovábbítás harmadik országokba
Some of our processors operate or have infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred to a third country, we rely on European Commission adequacy decisions where available and on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved under GDPR Art. 46 in all other cases.
